Pakistan imposes travel restrictions on these countries
Lahore, 21st March, 3:10, PM: Passengers from the countries that are severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic have been banned from travelling to Pakistan.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Pakistan has imposed travel restrictions on 12 African countries due to the threat of the new variant of COVID-19.
According to a notification from Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), these new orders will take effect from March 23 to April 5.

As per the notification, PCAA has included the following African countries in category C, which include Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ghana, Tanzania, and Zambia and some others. Travellers from these countries will not be allowed to enter Pakistan due to the rising number of coronavirus cases there.
The CAA’s notification also states that passengers of 20 countries included in category A will be exempt from coronavirus tests, which include Australia, Bhutan, China, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.
According to the directive, COVID tests have been made mandatory for passengers of category B countries, 72 hours before arrival in Pakistan.
The CAA order also indicated that the United Kingdom (UK) has been upgraded from category C to category B, while other countries are still on the list.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan is currently battling the third wave of coronavirus which according to the health expert, is more lethal and hazardous.
In the last 24 hours, 3,677 new coronavirus cases were reported across the country.
