According to a notification issued by the federal government in this regard, the ban will take effect from May 5 to 20. Iran and Afghanistan have been informed about the ban. Visitors from Afghanistan and Iran will be barred from entering Pakistan after 6 pm on May 5. There will be no ban on passengers traveling from Pakistan to Iran and Afghanistan. In the meantime, Pakistani nationals in Iran and Afghanistan will be able to return, and Afghan nationals will be allowed to receive much-needed medical assistance. This is a temporary measure to counter the spread of the virus.
