Officials say these actions reflect ongoing efforts to restore stability amid renewed militant activity in border regions. In Tank District’s Lali Khail area, security forces acting on intelligence reports engaged Afghan militant Abu Dujana, who was killed while preparing improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Two to three accomplices managed to escape, reportedly in injured condition. A 30-kilogram IED and heavy weapons were recovered from the site.
