Rich in natural resources, the oceans are also the cheapest and best way to connect different parts of the world. In view of the usefulness of the oceans, when mankind turned its attention to the benefits of the oceans, they became aware of these resources as well as the voyages, and thus formed the initial characteristics of sea travel. Initially, knowledge of shipping and maritime resources was limited, which led to the development of commercial voyage and maritime research.

History shows that the earliest forms of maritime trade came into being 2,000 years ago. With the advent of shipping, looting began to occur in the seas. As maritime trade progressed and advances in the discovery of maritime resources progressed, so did the dangers at sea. Enemies of maritime peace were exposed to piracy, maritime terrorism, and illegal migration at sea. He used negative activities like pregnancy as his ploy. Anti-social elements spread rapidly in the world and organized themselves to such an extent that they became a constant threat to maritime peace. Today, many seaports are home to pirates, including the Gulf of Aden, the coastal regions of Somalia and Nigeria, the Straits of Malacca and the Indian Ocean.

In view of the above scenario and the current modern challenges, many nations have made strenuous efforts to eradicate the scourge of piracy, but these efforts have not yielded significant results. After the failure of individual efforts, the world has come to realize that no nation alone can stop piracy, maritime terrorism and smuggling by sea. In order to protect the global economic system from maritime threats and to protect national maritime resources, the maritime countries are coming together on a platform to come up with a common thinking and a common strategy. The global navy has a huge responsibility to ensure that.
