Pakistan Prepared to Respond to Indian Aggression: FM Qureshi

After the first meeting of the Kashmir Committee, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while addressing a joint press conference with DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that today was the first meeting of the Kashmir Committee constituted by the Prime Minister.

The committee is represented by all the institutions of Pakistan. The meeting also reviewed what to do next, what should be the next diplomatic, political and legal strategy.

The Foreign Minister said that despite the Indian opposition, Security Council meeting was a great success for Pakistan. Moreover, India was shocked at the meeting yesterday. The Security Council is responsible for resolving the Kashmir issue.

Referring to the government’s measures regarding Kashmir issue, Shah Mahmood said that the Kashmir cell is being formed in the Foreign Office. Similarly, Kashmir desks will be formed at major embassies around the world.

Furthermore, FM Qureshi said that the Modi government has buried Nehru’s India. After a long time international media has openly supported Pakistan.

Human rights violations are being mentioned in Kashmir around the world. The Foreign Minister also expressed his concern that India may start an operation in Kashmir to divert the global attention.
