Pakistan Seals Border With Iran Over Covid-19 Wave Fears
ISLAMABAD: According to reports, Iran’s city Zahedan is facing a huge coronavirus wave due to which Pakistan has sealed its border with Iran.
According to the sources, No one is allowed to cross the border from either side of it.
Earlier in May, Pakistan sealed its borders with neighboring countries to avoid transmission of new covid-19 variants.
To protect the country from another virus wave, NCOC along with competent authorities have decided to revise the border management policy and seal the border with Iran. Previously, according to this policy, borders with Iran and Afghanistan were sealed.
According to NCOC, Previously, the land border management policy was revised and applied on May 5 till May 20.
