Lahore, 7th February: The second tranche of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine is expected to reach Pakistan soon.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, Pakistan is likely to get the second batch of the Chinese COVID-19 vaccine, Sinopharm, within the next 24 hours.
Sources from ARY News have reported that China will provide another half a million doses of the vaccine. All measures to obtain a Russian vaccine, Sputnik-IV, have also been finalised.
After China gifted 0.5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine last week, a countrywide COVID vaccination drive started on Wednesday in the first phase.
As per reports, Sindh has been provided with 84,000 doses of the vaccine, Punjab 70,000, KP 65,000, and Balochistan 10,300 doses.
