How Pakistani Cricket Changed on Fifteen October!

LAHORE (15th Oct, 2019): Pakistan’s Cricket legends, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, were first introduced to the world decades ago.

According to details, on this day in 1990, the world cricket received its first introduction to the historic partnership of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis as they shared 10 wickets in a Test for the first time. They reportedly took 15 wickets in all as Pakistan beat New Zeland by an innings in Karachi.

Moreover, 11 out of 15 wickets were out lbw or bowled which seems that most of their deliveries were out-swing and in-swing. On 15th of October 1990, Pakistani cricket changed as the world cricket received its first introduction to the Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis partnership.
