Pakistani cueists make a victorious start in the Six-red Snooker World Cup snatching a sweeping victory from their opponents.
The Six-red Snooker World Cup started in recently Doha, Qatar. On the first day, both the participating Pakistani cueists Babar Masih and Haris Tahir won their respective matches.
Pakistan’s Babar Masih did not give India’s Ishpreet Singh Chadha a chance to win even a single frame and absolutely dominated the match with a victory of 0-5.
Babar’s winning scores were 27-32, 23-30, 6-55, 7-57, and 9-56.
In another match, Pakistan’s Haris Tahir defeated Oman’s Hussain Al-Awati 2-5.
Harris took the lead by winning the first 2 frames, but Al-Awati tied the match by winning the third and fourth frames. Then Pakistan’s Haris Tahir regained control of the game again and won 3 consecutive frames, coming out one of the victors in the World Cup with a score of 2-5.
