As India tightens its diplomatic and strategic stance against Pakistan following the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that killed 26 people, several Pakistani nationals have been seen making hurried exits from the country. Among them, a Pakistani visitor who spoke to India Today TV expressed disappointment over India’s decision to close the Attari-Wagah border.

“We came here to attend an event. We had a visa for 45 days, but we have to leave India in this condition. We came here on April 15,” he said. Reacting to the closure of the key border point, he added, “Closing the border is a wrong move. There should be brotherhood between the two nations. But whatever is happening, is wrong.”

When asked about the suspected Pakistani involvement in the Pahalgam attack, the man declined to draw conclusions. “Nobody can tell who orchestrated the attack,” he said.
