Pakistani migrants among six dead in Greece car crash

Six migrants including Pakistanis are reported to be dead when an overcrowded vehicle that veered into a ditch off a motorway near the Turkish border in Athens on Monday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Athens police reported death of six migrant workers, who were illegally entering into Turkey at the Greece-Turkey motorway. There were around 16 migrants who were travelling in an over-crowded vehicle that crammed into jeep like vehicle which resulted in the death of 6 migrants, including two Pakistanis and four Egyptians heading towards the Greek town of Alexandroupolis.
The incident occurred in the Loutra region of Evros, an area on Greece’s border with Turkey. Hundreds of thousands of people have used Greece as a gateway to other countries in recent years, fleeing violence or poverty in the Middle East and beyond.
