Lahore, 1st July: Spinner Nida Dar became the first Pakistani player to cross 100 wickets in the format.

According to reports, Pakistani female cricket player Nida Dar has won a major honor for the country. She is the first Pakistani bowler to complete 100 wickets in T20I.

Dar crossed this milestone in the match against West Indies.

According to details, Nida Dar took two wickets in the match against West Indies played on the island of Antigua, however, Pakistan could not win the match.

West Indies women’s team won the match by 10 runs.

Expressing her sentiments, Nida Dar said, “I am happy to be honored. I would have been even happier if Pakistan had been victorious.”

The Pakistan Cricket Board has also paid tribute to Nida Dar and said that she is a star. The cricket board has called her a sniper superstar.
International Cricket Board (ICC) also posted on their Twitter handle, “In the T20I against West Indies, Nida Dar became the first Pakistan player to cross 100 wickets in the format. She is only the sixth cricketer overall to achieve this feat!”

Dar made her international debut for Pakistan nine years ago. All-rounder Nida has played a total of 183 ODIs and T20I matches for Pakistan so far.

Nida Dar is also the only Pakistani female cricketer to participate in the Women’s Big Bash League.
