Pandemic: Number of Active cases crosses 30,000 in Pakistan

Latest statistics released by the National command and Operation Centre, confirm number of active COVID-19 cases has reached, 30,538 across Pakistan.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, total active COVID-19 cases in Pakistan is 30,538 with 1,841 new cases reported on 18 May.

A total of 43,966 cases detected so far:

Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 115
Balochistan: 2,820
Gilgit-Baltistan: 550
Islamabad: 1,034
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 6,230
Punjab: 15,976
Sindh: 17,241

According to reports, 12,489 patients have recovered since the virus spread across Pakistan. The number of casualties has risen to 939 deaths with 36 deaths reported on 18 May.

Approximately, 342 patients are reported as critical. It is to be noted that so far, 400,292 tests have been conducted with 12,957 conducted on 18 May.

COVID-19: Hospital Staff Tests Positive In Lahore

It is to be noted, that 735 hospitals with COVID-19 facilities are operating across state with 9,919 patients admitted in the country.
