The novel virus was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in March of 2020 due to an alarming number of reported cases and deaths in the world. Following which, the government of Pakistan had also decided to implement a nation-wide lockdown in the battle against the spread of COVID-19 across Pakistan.
