PAPA honors Fauzia Kasuri for Meritorious Services

WASHINGTON: Educationist and political figure, Fauzia Kasuri, has been honored for her meritorious services to the community by the Pakistan American Press Association (PAPA), in Washington, D.C.

Kasuri, who is known for her political affiliations to the PTI and PSP, is a former political figure having announced her retirement from politics in 2018. At the time, Kasuri had said: “My journey in politics is over”.

She had added: “However, I continue to pray for Pakistan and wish to do whatever little I can for helping out with various charities.”

Fauzia Kasuri is also a prominent educationist with links to the Beacon House Group.

Attending an event by the PAPA, Kasuri was honored with an award for her meritorious services to the community in Washington. The award was presented by the serving Ambassador, Sheikh Rizwan.

Alongside Kasuri, Dr. Akbar Ahmad was also presented an award.
