Citizens in the South American country of Paraguay held a farewell party for the corona virus .
Despite warnings from the World Health Organization, thousands of people gathered at the country’s famous Charles Bridge with a population of more than 10 million to cheer and mingle with each other when sanctions were lifted.
The highlight of the party was the dining table on the bridge, which was 500 meters long and had a variety of food on it, and the citizens sitting on either side of the table enjoyed their favorite food with great relish.
Thousands of people gathered in the open air to enjoy the freedom of movement without interruption as the hardships and restrictions of the lock-down were lifted.
Participants flew all precautionary measures, ignoring social distances, mingling with each other in a crowded atmosphere and saying goodbye to the corona virus.
As of June 30, 12,000 people in a country of more than 10 million people had been infected with the corona virus, while 350 deaths had been recorded.
