Riyadh, June 28th: Parks and recreational areas in Jeddah have been reopened following the lifting of a curfew imposed in Saudi Arabia to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
According to the Saudi website, parks and recreational areas on the Corniche beach have also been opened to the public in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, after restrictions on the prevention of the coronavirus were lifted.
Earlier, parks and coastal recreational areas were closed to the public in all parts of the country due to the coronavirus, ensuring compliance with the principle of social distance as a precautionary measure.
During the curfew, coastal parks and recreational areas were renovated and renovated by the municipality and other agencies. In addition to spraying disinfectants in the parks, seating areas have also been improved. Municipal officials said that during the curfew, as people were not coming to the recreational places, the cleaning and sanitizing work was completed expeditiously.
It should be noted that after Eid-ul-Fitr in Jeddah, the coastal resort ‘Corniche’ was completely sealed off as soon as the curfew was lifted, a large number of people flocked to Corniche, making it impossible to follow the principle of social distance.
Following the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, the amusement parks on the Corniche were sealed off on a 24-hour basis as a precautionary measure.
