PCB Chairman wants quick resumption of schools, club cricket

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ramiz Raja is a true believer in grassroots cricket, that is the reason he put up this task in his hands and shared his vision what he thinks and how he wants to revive grassroots cricket with the first board heads in the meeting held in National High-Performance Centre (NHPC), Lahore. 

According to the details, Ramiz Raja emphasised the quick resumption of schools and club cricket as well as infrastructure up-gradation so that the youths received the best playing facilities and environment to display and demonstrate their talent.

He also shared that: “The grassroots cricket level tier deserves attention as it has been a neglected field for years, resulting in marginalising our growth canvas.”

“Under my watch, cricket nurseries will have permanent importance. gradation so that the youths received the best playing facilities and environment to display and demonstrate their talent,” the PCB chairman added 

“I acknowledge and appreciate the good work done at the provincial level by the First Boards and look forward to continuing to work collectively to bring a change to the Pakistan cricket landscape.” While appreciating the efforts of the first boards.

It must be noted Pakistan’s Domestic Cricket Structure was revised in the previous chairman’s tenure, now in our domestic circuit, we have 6 Regional Cricket Associations representing: Sindh, Balochistan, Central Punjab, Southern Punjab, Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
