PDM holds its third power show

Quetta, Oct. 25 (Online): The 11-party Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance on Sunday held its third power show this time in Quetta. PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman was also in attendance at the rally in Ayub Stadium, along with other political leaders who are part of the alliance.

PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz in her speech said that the time has come to change the fate of Pakistan and Balochistan. “No longer will husbands and brothers go missing, people of Balochistan,” she said addressing the attendees.Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while lashing out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government over rising inflation said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has ruined the country’s economy.

He said that the prices of essential commodities have gone beyond the reach of poor people. The PPP chairman said tomatoes were being sold at a price of Rs200/kg, while the price of pulse has reached Rs300/kg, adding that the prices of medicines are being increased every week.

“The poor masses are carrying the burden of incompetent selected government,” he said. Bilawal went on to say that those who are dreaming of breaking the opposition alliance will never succeed, adding that “we are not among those who back down from their stance.

Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has demanded the resignation of the President following the court verdict in the reference of Justice Qazi Faez Isa.He said that the so-called cabinet had sent a reference against Justice Faez Isa. The court ruled that the reference was malicious. The government has lost its moral legitimacy since the court ruling. On what basis are you sitting in the chair of the President and the Prime Minister.

Referring to the economic situation of the country, Fazal-ur-Rehman said that the survival of the states depends on the economy but Pakistan has become poor. Our movement against these fake rulers will now gain more momentum.
