People Rejoice as Coronavirus Restrictions Lifted from the UK

Coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in the UK in the wake of which a large number of people took to the streets in joy.

A video clip was released on social media site Twitter by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in which he is seen saying, “This is the right time to get Britain out of the lockdown. If we still can’t do it, we have to ask ourselves – will we ever be able to come out of it?”

According to British media reports, after the announcement of the lifting of restrictions, a large number of people reached the Manchester City Center, and long queues of young people formed outside of nightclubs and restaurants.

It was further reported that people were dancing out of happiness and joy, and fireworks were also lit.
According to the British Ministry of Health, face masks are required in some places but are not explicitly mandated by the law.

On the other hand, the British Prime Minister, Health Minister, and Chancellor are in isolation, which indicates that the cases are still on the rise. Recently, reports divulged that the British Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Sajid Javid, had caught the virus, despite having had two doses of the vaccine. Scientists fear that the number of daily cases in the UK, which currently stands at 50,000 a day, could rise to 200,000 a day.
