ISLAMABAD, September 15 (online): The Secretary General of Peoples Party Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has said in one of his message that Peoples Party pays tribute to all those who sacrificed their life for Democracy.
He said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and upholders of democracy had sacrificed their life for the sake of Democracy.
He further said that the founder of Peoples Party Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto believed that people are the source of power, credit of bringing constitution of 1973 goes to Peoples Party, we believe in the supremacy of Parliament, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto took vital steps for democracy, Asif Ali Zardari abolished 58-2(b) and gave powers to Parliament, nation should remember those who faced brutality for sake of Democracy.
