1st February 2021: Prior to the PSL 6, an MoU has been signed between top automobile manufacturer MG Motors and the Peshawar Zalmi franchise.
The biggest PSL franchise in terms of media and brand value, Peshawar Zalmi has signed a sponsorship agreement with world-renowned auto manufacturer MG Motors, that has recently been launched in Pakistan, for the tournament starting on 20th February 2021. MG Motors has become the official automobile partner of Peshawar Zalmi for PSL 6. Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi and Muhammad Asif of MG Motors signed the sponsorship agreement at Haier and Ruba Economic Zone Lahore.
Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi expressed his pleasure at the signing of the contract and called it the biggest partnership of the PSL. He said that MG motors has created big waves in Pakistan’s automobile industry in just a few months. He said this winning partnership will continue in the future and prove a boon to cricket and automobile lovers in Pakistan.
