Petition against JUIF Azadi March approved by IHC

Islamabad High Court will hear a petition against JUIF Azadi March toward Islamabad.

As per details a citizen of Islamabad filed a petition to stop Azadi March tagging Ministry of Interior, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), the capital administration, and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman as respondents in the petition.

Chief Justice Athar Minallah, will listen the petitioner tomorrow.He stated in the petition that March of JUIF could create troubles for citizens and school going children.He said Federal capital should be not used for personal political purpose.

Earlier today Islamabad High court ordered local Government of Islamabad that to manage a place for protesters so that public wouldn’t have to face any hardship and they can live their life normally without any difficulties.

The petitioner give reference of JUIF chief statement about making whole country battleground in the petition.

“The entire country will be our battleground,” he told reporters at a press conference.

“Our strategy will not remain stagnant. We will keep changing it to cope with [any] situation,” he said. He insisted that a “flood of people from all over the country” was coming to join the march.
