Petrol prices likely to go up from September 1

Lahore, 28th August: Petroleum products are likely to go up by Rs 5 per liter from September 1, according to reports.

According to details, due to heavy taxes and petroleum levy, petroleum products are likely to become more expensive.

Petrol prices are likely to increase by Rs 5 per liter from September 1. According to sources, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4.5 per liter. High-speed diesel is likely to cost up to Rs 5 per liter.

Petrol prices to remain fixed

The government will fix the new prices on August 31. It was earlier reported that the decision to revise petrol prices every 15 days from September will be taken on a 15-day basis as per the decision of the Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC).

The current petroleum prices will remain the same till the end of August this month and the 15-day basis of oil prices will start from September 1.

It may be recalled that on July 28, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) had approved a revision in the prices of petroleum products every 15 days.
