Petrol prices likely to increase

Lahore, 30th December: Petrol prices in Pakistan are likely to increase from the next month.

Baaghi TV: The price of petrol in the country is expected to rise from January 1, 2021.

According to reports from the Geo News, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division, where it has suggested to increase petrol prices by Rs 2.75, per litres.

Moreover, sources said that OGRA has asked the division to increase the price of diesel by Rs 3, adding that the finance ministry would take a final decision after consulting Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The new prices will be announced on Thursday, sources added.
