LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), the department overseeing management of parks, reversed its decision to open public and amusement parks within an hour.
According to the details, PHA today issued a letter to reopen public parks, which the authority withdrew once again and announced to maintain the closure of public parks.
“Public parks across the province will be allowed to open from 8 am to 5 pm,” the PHA said in a statement. The letter clarified that visitors to the parks must strictly adhere to the coronavirus SOPs and that anyone who comes without a face mask will not be allowed to enter the park.
Within an hour, the PHA revoked the permit and issued a new letter stating that “public parks will remain closed until further notice.” The new PHA letter states that “public parks will be closed until further notice by the Secretary of Health.”
