PIA becomes the first airline to have a fully vaccinated crew

Lahore, 17th June: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is the first national airline to operate flights with a fully vaccinated crew.
According to reports, all crew members of PIA including its pilots, flight attendants and other staff have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik said, “Pakistan International Airlines is now the first Pakistani airline to have a completely safe crew.”
He added that all safety measures have been adhered to and that the airline ensures the safety of not only the passengers but its staff as well.
It is to be noted that on the 9th of June, PIA announced a reduction of up to 10% in fares for vaccinated senior citizens on domestic flights.
PIA spokesperson informed that senior citizens who are 50 years and above can avail a discount of 10% on domestic flights by showing their COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
