PIA decides to operate direct flight to three countries

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flag carrier of the South Asian country, has decided to operate direct flights to three countries including Australia, Maldives and Hong Kong. According to the details, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik announced the direct flights operation to the three countries. He said that the airline has started working on the flight schedules with direct air operations being planned for Istanbul and Bangkok. Air Marshal Arshad Malik also said that dialogue is underway with British, European and American civil aviations for resumption of direct flights to United Kingdom (UK), European countries and United States (US). While talking to media, he said that European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has called for an audit to operate flights to European countries, the airline will restore flights as soon as the audit is cleared.
