PIA denies reports against Boeing 786
Pakistan International Airlines offers its rebuttal with reference to Boeing 786.
Lahore, 29th Feb: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) Spokesperson has denied the reports, that PIA aircraft had security-controlled incidents on the aeroplane.
On February 27, PK-786 from London-Islamabad was not surrounded by any aircraft.
There was a continued contact with PK-786 Hungarian air traffic controller over Slovakia’s airspace.
According to the PIA Spokesperson, the Hungarian Air Traffic Controller (ATC) gave direct route to air traffic, which was confirmed by Romania and Czech authorities by plane.
On being granted permission by the pilot, he allowed the direct route to be maintained. Such incidents or violations are immediately reported to the country of concern.
PIA has not received any report from anyone.The pilot report also did not identify any unusual incidents.
