PIA enforces Essential Services Act

Pakistan International Airline have enforced Essential Services Act 2023.

As per the document available with Baaghi TV, needless to elucidate that PIACL is passing through unprecedented times  times due to prevalent  economic conditions of the country, resulting into severe cash flow constraints.

The ESA has been enforced to address the situation, PIA Management is working in close coordination with the highest offices of the Go, Including Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Aviation. in ties respect, all possible options are being worked upon to ensure that MACE commercial operations remain unaffected due mentioned medicaments.

From now onwards, PIA employees are regarded as the most vital and key resource of the Company  tendering their sets/ices lot maintaining smooth operations, despite all imam ‘al hardships likes of which were  witnessed in the past during COVID-I9 pandemic

Of late, it has been observed that few employees have reflect the malafide  Intention of influencing in the  operations oyes delayed payment of salary.

Federal Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sechon 1 of section 3 of the Pakistan Essential Services  (Maintenance) Act, 1952 (1 III of 1952), ahas declared all classes of employees of PIACL under the said Act Having been enforced, a number of obligations are imposed on the employees of PIACL wih regard to per performance of their duties, breach of which is not only to be treated as a misconduct under Company’s rules, but also to taken as the offence under the Act.

Above In view, it is directed that all chiefs to ensure the ESA and any bleach to commission of such an offence shall be liable to disciplinary action as per PIACL rules.
