PIA launches direct flights from Lahore to Baku
The Pakistan International Airlines launched its direct flights from Lahore to Baku, Azerbaijan today, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand international connectivity and boost tourism.
Addressing the launching ceremony in Lahore, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said positive results of Pakistan’ diplomatic efforts to boost ties with various states are coming forth.
He said under Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s dynamic leadership, Pakistan’ economy is heading forward on the path of progress, after coming out of difficult times.
