PIA operates special flight for Hindu pilgrims

November 25, 2021: Upon special request of the Pakistan Hindu Council leader Dr. Ramesh Kumar, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has operated a special flight.

According to the details, on the special flight, a large number of domestic and foreign Hindu pilgrims traveled from Karachi to Peshawar via Karak. The pilgrims visited the sacred temple of Shri Paramhans Dayal Ji Maharaj at Karak. Shri Paramhans Dayal Ji Maharaj is also known as the “First Spiritual Master” of Shri Paramhans Advait Mat.

Special prayers were offered at the temple for the security and religious harmony of Pakistan. On his return to Karachi, Dr. Ramesh Kumar thanked the leaders of the pilgrims, especially the Government of Pakistan, local authorities and the PIA for their hospitality.

“Today it has been proved that all religions in Pakistan are free for their rituals. The government is taking important steps to increase religious tourism in the country,” said Dr. Ramesh Kumar.

The national flag carrier is requested to operate such international flights now so that people from outside can come to Pakistan easily for visiting, he added.

On this special occasion, the chief executive officer (CEO) of the national flag carrier said that PIA will assist in all purposes that are in the national interest.

“PIA has arranged special flights to serve followers of different religions. We want to serve humanity in the light of Quaid-e-Azam’s words and this has always been the mission of PIA. Pakistan is the homeland of believers of all religions and we are the national airline,” said CEO PIA, Air Marshal Arshad Malik.
