PIA Plane crash: Special team left for Karachi on the orders of Army Chief

Karachi, 22nd May: According to the report of Baaghi TV, a special team has left Rawalpindi for Karachi on the instructions of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to expedite the relief activities.

According to DG ISPR, Army Urban Search and Rescue Team C-130 has left Rawalpindi for Karachi on a special flight. 10 Army fire tenders took part in extinguishing the fire at the accident site.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the PIA plane crash. General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed his sorrow and sympathy to the affected families. The Army Chief directed that full assistance be given to the civil administration in rescue and relief operations.

According to DG ISPR, Pakistan Army and Rangers troops have reached the spot for relief operations. Pakistan Army troops are assisting the civil administration. Army Quick Response Force has reached the spot.

A Pakistan International Airlines plane crashed near Karachi Airport with 98 people on board, including security personnel. Security forces cordoned off the area.

PIA Flight 8303 from Lahore to Karachi crashed in Model Colony area, an emergency was declared by Civil Aviation.
