Karachi, 10th June: The heaviest and the difficult parts of the plane were taken away today in Karachi at the PIA plane crash site.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, the wing and engine of the aircraft were removed from between the houses with the help of a weighing crane in the presence of technicians.
It is reported that after the accident, an engine weighing several tons was lying on the roof of a three-storey building. The plane sank 17 meters long and 5 meters wide inside the house.
There was a risk of the house collapsing if the roof was removed, so the roof was torn to pieces.
Weight and high cranes were needed to lift the roof, engine, and feathers, but the road was narrow and densely populated so it was very difficult to pull it through the power lines.
As per sources, PIA ordered weighbridges and other machinery from KPT and Naval Dockyard. Army mechanized engineers and Pakistan Air Force troops were also present to assist the PIA in this task.
Sindh Rangers 42 Wing has sealed off the entire area and secured the debris transfer process.
According to reports, all parts have been shifted to a safe place at Karachi Airport where investigative teams will inspect them.
