PIA to operate additional flights to UK ahead of travel ban

Lahore, 6th April: Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has announced to operate flights to the United Kingdom before the travel ban on April 9.

According to reports of Baaghi TV, PIA has announced to operate three more flights to the UK before it imposes a travel ban on Pakistan.

The national carrier informed that it will operate two flights to Manchester on April 7 and 8, while one to London on April 8.

PIA has sought permission from the UK government to operate flights prior to the travel ban starting from April 9.

PIA announced on Twitter, “PIA mounts 03 more FLTs for UK before 9th April. Those who couldn’t yet get the seats can get those with ease by approaching PIA offices, tasked by CEO to work 24/7. More flights are also planned & will be announced soon.”

It is to be noted that the UK has added Pakistan and Bangladesh to its Red List of countries that prohibit international travellers to enter Britain starting from 4:00 am local time, Friday, April 9.
