Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started on Wednesday its complete flight operations for Saudi Arabia, following lifting of travel restrictions by Riyadh from next month.

According to the details, the first PIA flight carrying 121 passengers reached Madinah from Multan. Moreover, five PIA flights will be operated on Thursday, carrying a total of 1,400 people to Saudi Arabia.

The flight schedule for Saudi Arabia flight operations will be as follows:

  • Lahore to Jeddah
  • Islamabad to Jeddah
  • Lahore to Dammam
  • Islamabad to Riyadh
  • Karachi to Madinah

On Friday, 1,130 passengers will be carried on four flights from Karachi to Dammam, Islamabad to Dammam, from Lahore to Riyadh and from Multan to Jeddah.

The national flag carrier of Pakistan will operate a total of 33 flights this week, which will increase to 48 next week.
