According to a Baaghi TV report, PIA  has canceled 50 pilots’ licenses while in action on fake pilot cases.

The Federation has pleaded through a new miscellaneous plea in the cancellation case of licenses of pilots pending in Islamabad court, not to restore pilots with licenses dismissed and canceled from PIA as their licenses have been canceled and sent to FIA.

The court order, in this case, will have a far-lasting impact and consequences on aviation, a written reply was placed in Islamabad court on Saturday by an additional attorney general requesting not to approve the request for the rehabilitation of pilot Syed Saqalin Akhtar, in response to the decision to check the licenses of pilots after Karachi plane crash, 860 active pilots checked licenses, 262 suspected licenses suspended 172 out of 262 licenses are valid and 50 have been proved to be fake.

It should be noted that the federal government had earlier canceled 50 pilots’ licenses if they were not certified and their cases were sent to the FIA and criminal proceedings against them will now begin.

In the case of a fake license of pilots, the federal government has informed the Islamabad Court in a written reply that 172 of the 262 pilots declared suspicious have been declared clear after their license sat confirmed.
