Pink walk held in Canberra, Australia
Canberra (4th Nov, 2019): Pink Walk organised by local Pakistani community in support of Shaukat Khanum Hospital to raise awareness for breast cancer.
The month of October is often referred to as Pinktober. Shaukat Khanum Hospital organized series of Pink walk to aware people about breast cancer.The whole month is dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer.
Numerous events are held around the world to spread awareness to promote a healthy life style with people mostly women and choosing yo wearing pink cloths in support of the cause and fight against breast cancer.
To support the fight against breast cancer and raise awareness the local Pakistani community in Australia organised a ‘Pink Walk’ with the help of Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Canberra, Capital Of Australia.

In 2019, it is estimated that 19,535 Australians may be diagnosed with breast cancer according to Cancer Australia. Out of this, it is estimated that 3,090 people will die due to this cancer.
