Lahore, 16th March: According to the reports of Baaghi TV, with the increasing toll of coronavirus cases in Pakistan, there is a huge demand for facial masks, gloves and medical protective clothing for the paramedical staff and the citizens also. According to the recent reports, the General Secretary of the Young Pharmacists Pakistan, Mr. Furqan Ibrahim, has made an appeal to the PM and the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the criminal act of smuggling the face masks out of Pakistan to China. According to his statement filed on the 7th of February 2020, Mr. Ghazanfar Ali Khan S/o Mr. Maqbool Khan Deputy Director of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), Mr. Asim Rauf CEO DRAP and Dr. Zafar Mirza Special Assistant to Prime Minister issued six permits to re-export face masks and protections to China by getting Rs.10 million bribe for each permit, which means Rs.60 million bribe for six permits.
