Plea to remove aviation minister heard in IHC

Wednesday, July 1st: According to the report of Baaghi TV, the decision to remove Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan from office was heard in the Islamabad High Court.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the case. Petitioner’s lawyer Tariq Asad Advocate appeared in the court. During the hearing, Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court Athar Minallah remarked that a detailed order should be issued in this regard.

The lawyer told the court that Ghulam Sarwar’s irresponsible rhetoric made the country laugh. The minister should have kept it low. A six-month ban is imposed on PIA flights. Ghulam Sarwar made an irresponsible statement regarding 262 pilots.

Tariq Asad Advocate had approached the court for dismissal of Ghulam Sarwar Khan as Minister. The petitioner had said in his petition that the Minister of Aviation had accused 262 pilots of forged licenses without inquiry and dismissed Ghulam Sarwar Khan for irresponsible speech in the National Assembly.
