NAB has seized all records related to appointment of the chief executive officer of the Pakistan LNG limited on Tuesday.

According to reports of Baaghitv, NAB raided the Petroleum division office and seized all the records related to appointment of chief executive officers of the Pakistan LNG limited, in a bid to probe the corruption done by PML-N government in the past five years.

CEO of PLL Adnan Gilani resigned from his post following the launch of investigation by National Accountable Bureau (NAB). NAB had arrested former premier Abbasi in July in the LNG contract award case.

A Petroleum Division spokesperson confirmed that Gilani had resigned. However, “it needs to be accepted and approved by the PLL board,” he pointed out.
