PM convenes an important meeting on the issue of opening educational institutions

Baaghi TV: The Prime Minister convened an important meeting of the National Coordinating Committee on Corona on the issue of opening educational institutions. Provincial chief ministers will attend the meeting.

According to sources, the proposals of the provincial governments regarding opening of educational institutions will be reviewed. Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood will give a briefing on suggestions and SOPs. The National Coordinating Committee will make the final decision in the light of the suggestions. The implementation of the decisions of the last meeting of the National Coordinating Committee will be reviewed.

According to sources, the meeting of the National Coordinating Committee will be attended by federal ministers, aides, civil and military officials. The current situation of Corona will be reviewed. The NCOC will give a briefing on Corona’s statistics.

The meeting will decide on the opening of educational institutions. After a detailed briefing with the officials of the Ministry of Health in the meeting, recommendations regarding resumption of activities in the institutions will be sent to the National Coordination.

Chairman and Executive Director HEC will also attend the meeting. The 6-point agenda of the meeting has been released. SOPs related to educational institutions will be finalized.
