PM takes notice on non-availability of COVID-19 medicines
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan takes notice on the non-availability of medicines for coronavirus treatment in the country. According to the report of Baaghi TV, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the coronavirus situation. The meeting was attended by Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Interior Minister Ijaz Shah, Industries and Production Minister Muhammad Hammad Azhar, Finance Advisor Dr Hafeez Sheikh and Special Assistant for Information Lt Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa. Moreover, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and senior officers also attended the meeting. The meeting considered the current status of coronavirus, estimates for the next few days and steps to be taken to deal with the situation. The current situation of beds, oxygen, ventilators and facilities available for corona patients in different provinces of the country and the steps to be taken to increase it were also reviewed.
