ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken a clear and unequivocal stand and said that the founder of Pakistan had made it clear that he would not recognize Israel until the Palestinians get their due, “It should be clear that our future is tied to China,” he said.

During a interview, various issues were discussed including Pakistan’s foreign policy, Pak-China friendship, Israel, Kashmir issue, Afghan peace process, economy, situation in the region, national issues and politics.

Prime Minister Imran khan said that my conscience will never accept Israel, our position on Israel is very clear, Pakistan can never recognize Israel. If we surrender to Israel, then we must leave Kashmir, we also have to answer to God about Israel and Palestine, he added.

Talking about China, a long time friend of Pakistan, Imran Khan said that it should be clear that our future is connected with China. China has stood by Pakistan in every good and bad time,we are further strengthening our ties with China, China needs Pakistan as well. Unfortunately, Western countries are using India against China.

He said the Chinese president was scheduled to visit Pakistan in May this year but his visit was delayed due to Corona. Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to visit Pakistan next winter.

Talking about relations with Saudi Arabia, he said that Pakistan’s role is not to divide the Muslim world. Saudi Arabia has its own foreign policy. News of a breakdown in relations with Saudi Arabia is completely false, Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan in every difficult time.

Answering an important question, the Prime Minister said that earlier America used Pakistan for war, today we are partners in peace, we are partners in the peace process in Afghanistan. While Kashmir issue is being highlighted in the world, Kashmir has been debated three times in the United Nations.

“I’ve been struggling all my life, I’ve been struggling since I was nine,” he said. I built a hospital but politics was a great struggle, I formed the PTI after the two-party system. There is no fear of ups and downs when you try, I Understood the challenges of the past two years.

He said that Madina was the first welfare state and a unique state where the law was equal for all. Pakistan was also built in the name of Islamic welfare state, I am trying to make the country a welfare state. 8th and 9th grade children will be taught about the life of the Prophet in all schools in Pakistan.

Imran Khan said that if we want to make progress, we have to bring the poor class up. There are benefits for the small class in Pakistan who do not pay taxes. When I came to power, the economy was on the verge of bankruptcy, the institutions were destroyed. The system in Pakistan is such that everything can be done by paying money, barriers for small business owners while the powerful can get everything done by paying money. The elite class considers itself above the law, when the NAB calls, they say the country is ruined. That is why the elite class has been in a cycle of overthrowing the government for two consecutive years.

The Prime Minister said that it is difficult to sleep thinking about energy issues. Reducing electricity distribution, theft and line losses alone is not the solution to the problem, unless the cost of power generation is brought down, the problem will not be solved completely. We are stuck in agreements under which we have to pay for electricity or not, we are stuck in torment. If the price of electricity does not go up, the revolving loans go up. If the government raises the price of electricity, the people go back.

He said that the future of Pakistan depends on industry, unless we become an industrial country, we cannot move forward. Last year, 2,000 billion was repaid in installments, this year it is 2,700 billion. Until we become an industrialized country, these debt repayments will continue to increase. We will now also bring down the prices of electricity generated in government power plants. The government is coming up with a plan to improve power plants and distribution, it is also coming up with a comprehensive power policy. The power policy is almost ready, we will bring it to the notice of the people in a week or two.

Replying to a question about Punjab Chief Minister, he said that when I am not making money, I will not allow anyone to make it. It’s been two years, sometimes someone says something about Usman Bazdar, sometimes I get one allegation from the IB about Usman Bazdar.

He said that the liquor license case against Usman Bazdar was a joke, asking for a liquor license is an excise duty. The Chief Minister of a large province was summoned to the NAB and suspicion was raised. If there is a strong case, first of all I would say that Usman should resign.

He said that the problem of Usman Bazdar is that he does not go to the media much and does not defend himself. It is unfortunate to say that there are people among us who speak against the Chief Minister of Punjab, the way they are attacked, it is a pity. Usman Buzdar was also accused of ring road.

The Prime Minister once again defended Usman Bazdar and said that our party came to power for the first time in Punjab. Our party did not have the experience of power in the federation and Punjab, mistakes were bound to happen. In Punjab, there is a bureaucracy imposed by the Sharif family, they have now reached the right combination, now the system will work properly, I think Punjab is moving in the right direction.

He said that when Nawaz Sharif became the Chief Minister for the first time, he did not hold a press conference before delivering the envelope. Usman Bazdar is learning, in these two years I have also learned, it took me a while to understand, I am reviewing all the provinces, Punjab is moving forward very fast.

Talking about the pandemic situation in Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that we locked down on March 13 as a result of Coronavirus. Cases were on the rise in Europe at the time and there was a complete lockdown. Considering the situation in Europe, there was a complete lockdown in our country as well. From day one I wondered what would happen to the poor as a result of a complete lockdown.

He said from the beginning that our situation was not like that of Europe, but I was severely criticized. Our intention should be to always give priority to the poor, many in our party called for a lockdown, but I resisted.

Replying to a question about Jahangir Tareen, a key PTI leader and political leader, the Prime Minister said that he struggled the most with me. Unfortunately, when the investigation was carried out, Jahangir Tareen also intervened, I was very sorry to hear his name. The leader must be honest and trustworthy, such decisions have to be made in leadership. If these things do not happen then no one will trust the leader. However, he said that Jahangir Tareen has not committed any crime yet, the institutions will decide on the finding of the commission.

PM Imran Khan said that I am not part of any mafia. The purpose of the new Pakistan is to catch the beneficiaries of the corrupt system. My life’s mission is to fight the mafia, if caught, they blackmail and go to court. The mafia unites and puts pressure, Sugar Mills Association brought a restraining order on the commission report.

Talking about the problems of the city leader, the Prime Minister said that it hurts a lot when I look at Karachi. Without the politics of linguistics in the 80’s, Karachi would have developed a lot. Muttahida Bani’s gun culture wreaked havoc in Karachi. The loss of Karachi caused a lot of damage to Pakistan, Karachi’s problem is the lack of a local government system. Our case is pending in the Supreme Court regarding the local system of Karachi.

Karachi should have a metropolitan system, situation in Karachi is very bad. We are going to make decisions regarding Karachi, the situation will be better now.

He said that money is made by hoarding, there are cartels everywhere in the country. Everywhere people are artificially raising prices. When the Sugar Commission’s forensic inquiry took place, the brokers came to the fore. The Sugar Mills Association threatened Wajid Zia in a letter, together they put pressure. We gave the rate thinking of the farmers, the Sugar Mills Association brought a stay order on the report of the commission.

Replying to a question on the Opposition’s Charter of Economy, the Prime Minister said that the opposition was demanding NRO, should I give it like Musharraf? The purpose of the opposition leaders is to blackmail me. The purpose of the opposition’s amendments is the NRO, if I give them NRO, I will betray them. The country is destroyed when the prime minister and ministers are corrupt, corruption is the cause of poverty in many countries. When the Prime Minister of the country commits corruption, he has to have ministers who commit corruption together. The country has no future if it backs away from accountability. It was very easy for me to compromise with them, the government would run very easily. Formerly corrupt, now they are also blackmailing for laws like FATF to prevent theft.

Talking about fake licenses of pilots, he said that the inquiry report found suspicious licenses of 260 pilots. In the last ten years, there have been four accidents due to pilot errors. However, the case of the pilots could have been better as presented.

I explained that when presented in the media, it should be presented in a better way. It was our fault for presenting a fake license, the inquiry report that came out was horrible, the structure of aviation was wrong. There is a civil aviation regulator trying to separate it, things were delayed because of Coronavirus. Destroying an organization doesn’t take time, it takes time to fix. The structure was destroyed due to wrong recruitment in PIA.

“I have no relatives in the bureaucracy. There were family parties in the country before. We are trying to bring about change,” he said. It will take time to fix the FBR, change does not come overnight. Many things will take time to fix. The first year was a very difficult year, we got out of a difficult time, that year will make a difference, economic conditions are improving, hard times are over, things will get better in the future. Improvement will be seen, Pakistan was developing in 1960, this is how development will be seen.

He said that no government has ever worked on pension, our whole country is being oppressed due to pension. We will bring the whole program regarding pension, we will create pension funds. There are pension funds in the world, they are also learning from Malaysia in this regard.
