PM Imran Khan condemns attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and said that the soldiers of the security agencies bravely fought the enemy.
According to the reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the brave soldiers of the security agencies foiled the terrorist attack, the whole nation is proud of its brave soldiers. Heartfelt sympathy to the families of the martyrs and prayers for the recovery of the injured.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also condemned the attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange and termed the incident as an attack on national security and economy. He suggested that a complete inquiry and report should be submitted on this case.
The Sindh Chief Minister also directed the law enforcement agencies to be more vigilant.
Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail took notice of the firing and grenade attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange and telephoned IG Sindh to demand a detailed report on the incident. He said that it was the responsibility of the police to provide security to the stock exchange. He further said that the attack was an attack on Pakistan’s economy.
It should be noted that this morning at 10:05 am, 4 terrorists attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi with a large number of weapons. After throwing a bomb at the main gate, they started firing indiscriminately. However, security guards and police officers stationed at the building stopped them and foiled the attack.
Six people, including Sub-Inspector Shahid and four security guards, were martyred in the incident, while three officers were injured, and all four attacking terrorists were killed.
