PM Imran Khan leaves for USA to attend UNGA session

Prime Minister Imran Khan left Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia for New York to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), during which he is slated to meet several heads of states and attend various summits.

The prime minister Imran Khan will lead the Pakistan delegation during the high-level week of the session from September 21 to 27, the Foreign Office. He will deliver his speech to the UNGA on September 27. PM Imran Khan will share Pakistan’s perspective on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, its current human rights situation and related dimensions.

Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UN, took to Twitter to announce that Prime Minister Imran Khan will be coming to New York Saturday morning on “Mission Kashmir”. She said the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will be a packed programme and that the premier will also speak on foreign relations at the Asia Society & Council.
