PM Khan, Afghan President discuss bilateral ties, regional situation.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Ashraf Ghani held a meeting and discuss bilateral ties and regional situation.

According to the reports of Baaghitv, Ashraf Ghani who is on official visit to Pakistan held a one to one meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan at Prime Minister House where matters of bilateral ties and regional issues came in discussion.

The Afghan President arrived at PM House after holding delegation level talks with FM Qureshi. He was received by PM Imran Khan and was presented a guard of honor by the contingent of armed forces.

Prime Minister also held delegation level meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and matters of mutual interest were discussed. Afghan Peace Process was discussed in length and both leaders agreed to enhance co-operation for achieving lasting peace in Afghanistan.

Prior to this meeting Afghan President Ashraf Ghani held discussion with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in which president lauded Pakistan’s effort for peace n Pakistan.

FM Qureshi said that Afghan President’s visit to Pakistan would strengthen bilateral relation and bring two countries closer.
