PM Khan Appoints Lt Gen Nadeem Raza as CJCSC
ISLAMABAD (21st Nov, 2019): Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Lt Gen Nadeem Raza, HI (M) as the Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) on Thursday.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the prime minister gave approval for the appointment of Lt Gen Nadeem Raza, HI (M) as the Chairman of JCSC and it will take effect from 27th of November 2019.
Reportedly, a press release has also been issued by the Prime Minister Office which stated that, “It may be recalled that notification for reappointment of General Qamar Javed Bajwa, NI(M) as Chief of Army Staff (COAS) for another tenure has already been issued on 19th of August 2019.”

Be clear that, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat is currently serving as the CJCSC and is set to retire on 28th of November 2019.
