PM Khan shares special message on current debate

ISLAMABAD (28th Nov, 2019): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has shared important message concerning extension to Chief Of Army Staff (COAS).
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Prime Minister taunts opponents after General Qamar Javed Bajwa gets extension from Supreme Court. He took to Twitter and shared a series of tweets.
“Today must be a great disappointment to those who expected the country to be destabilised by a clash of institutions. That this did not happen must be of special disappointment to our external enemies & mafias within,” PM tweeted.

He also tweeted that the PTI had been at the forefront of the movement for the independence of judiciary in 2007 and he was jailed for it.
For the record, 23 yrs ago we were the first Party to advocate an independent Judiciary and Rule of Law. In 2007, PTI was in the forefront of the Movement for Independence of the Judiciary & I was jailed for it.

While praising Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, PM wrote, “Also, for the record, I have the greatest respect for CJ Khosa, one of the greatest Jurists produced by Pakistan.”

Reportedly, Supreme Court of Pakistan allows federal government to extend General Bajwa’s tenure by six months on Thursday. The Supreme Court allowed the federal government to grant a six-month extension to COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
Moreover, the court directed the government to bring necessary legislation within six months’ time.
