New York: Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Bin Mohamad, founder of Microsoft Bill Gates and will also attend a trilateral conference between Pakistan, Turkey and Malaysia.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s schedule of engagements in the United Nations (UN) was released today. According to the schedule, Prime Minister Imran Khan will attend the UN General Assembly meeting and address the conference.
Meeting with The New York Times editorial board is also included in the Prime Minister’s schedule.
The most important meeting of the Prime Minister will be with Microsoft founder Bill Gates today, while also meeting the Norwegian counterpart and the Pakistani Technology Group delegation are part of the Prime Minister’s schedule.
It is to be remembered that Prime Minister Imran Khan had meetings with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
Turkish President Erdoğan and Imran Khan discussed the strategic and economic relations between the two Muslim countries. Prime Minister apprised the Turkish President of the serious situation in occupied Kashmir while bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed in the meeting with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Moreover, challenges related to Islamophobia and anti-Muslim sentiments were discussed between Imran Khan and Jacinda Ardern.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the General Assembly on September 27 and will also hold a press conference in New York after it.
